  • Hello, my name is Gabriele Oleotti
  • I was born in the early 70s.
  • Like many of my peers, I started with a home computer.
  • Spending a lot of time playing games…
  • …and learning that there were so many new interesting things I could do with it!
  • I soon became a technology enthusiast.
  • Expanding my interests…
  • …and my ambitions.
  • I first worked as a consultant, just trying to sell my growing technical expertise.
  • In the meanwhile I began my university studies in Math…
  • I discovered I was inclined in both administration and design of systems and networks
  • In 2001 I took the MCSE certification…
  • …and I became a Systems Administrator.
  • I worked intensely in systems administration not neglecting any operative task.
  • And in 2003 I finally took my degree in Mathematics.
  • My preparation in Math always helps me in setting me off in the information security area.
  • In 2004 I started studying hard again…
  • …and in 2007 I took my second degree in Systems and Networks Information Security
  • Soon I’ve been promoted to an IT management role.
  • Where I started experiencing traditional management techniques
  • But I soon found my way with scrum and agile lifecycles.
  • Now I’m studying CISSP to certify my security management capabilities.
  • And I’m looking for an IT and Information Security management job.
  • When I’m not working.
  • I love spending time with my family...
  • …reading books; particularly those about new and original ideas...
  • …swimming and practicing sports.
  • My strength.
  • I’m creative and propositive; and I support green IT.
  • I put energy and passion in everything I do.
  • I’m enthusiastic about innovations.
  • I always study topics in depth
  • I’m accurate at my job.
