  • 3. The Logo Concept ! ✤ Key Elements: The bright color and flowers in the middle. The logo will be very effective and reflect the unique brand because it conjures up images of home and garden. Familiarity is attractive to the consumer. Unfamiliar surroundings are harder to accept. ✤ Logo effectiveness: The logo is very effective because of its simplicity and familiarity that it brings to the eye of the consumer. Color Orange: This color is carries the energy of red and happiness of yellow. This color possesses hight visibility so it can catch attention. It is also associated with health, food and is highly accepted by young people. The logo also shows a house roof over the name which, definitely conveys a message to the consumer. In addition, the words “be happy” will make the consumer want to visit the store. ✤ Unique Brand: Home goods is a household name. The company has many locations accessible to the consumer in many cities. Products, pricing, and location clearly differentiates this company from similar competitors such as Anna’s Linens.   • 5. Effective Company Logos The Logo carries the red and yellow and the “M” that became a worldwide known symbol for McDonald’s. The effectiveness of the logo shows when the “M” brings up images of a hamburger with fries. Even though it has other products to offer the hamburger and fries are a signature for this company. The Target logo is red and a fairly simple design that is in fact a target. Some advertising has placed the target symbol in the eye of a dog and is associated in the U.S. with low prices and quality products. This logo in particular is a wordmark. It also speaks to the average internet user who does not enjoy store shopping, crowds, and parking issues. Provocative. The tag line entices the consumer to shop in this store and picture all the products on his or her living room, bathroom, patio, and such. The tag line is simple and to the point. It adds to the message the company logo is trying to convey to the consumer. In addition, the tag line distinguishes our company from the competitor because we offer an online service that will deliver right to the customer’s door.
