  2. 2. “Samuel” When she’s away I miss her [doing work]. When she’s here I worry [about work]”  Goals: Be present when I am with my fiancé. Be present when I am doing my work. Less interaction & cross over between the two.  Background: Graduate student in CME with demanding advisor, quals at the end of the quarter, decreased activity in sports, fiancé is on travel frequently due to new job.  Needs: More time in communication due to constraint. More time to do work.  Problems: Difficult to be present due to multiple stressors. Time is a limited resource. Attention is a limited resource.
