    26. BoSI Charity Matching Funds Programme BOSI match colleagues individual fundraising efforts € for € up to a maximum of €500 per individual per year for any eligible charity of their choice.
    27. BoSI Charity Volunteering Programme This programme provides encouragement, opportunities and support to colleagues who are donating their time to support the community in which they live. Colleagues who regularly volunteer in their own time can apply for funds to support a project in their chosen charity. • Teams can volunteer to do work in the community as a team building exercise or Away Day. • If individuals carry out volunteer work on a regular basis the Bank will pay their salary for one day and so they can work as a volunteer for their charity for this day.
    28. BoSI Charity Charity of the Year Our Aim – To raise €100,000 for our Charity of the Year • The creation of a capital expenditure type project or programme. Not a contribution towards recurring expenditure. • Proposal must show imagination or innovation and the ability to capture the attention of BOSI colleagues on whom we are reliant to raise €100,000. • Proposal must include how BOSI colleagues could become involved nationally with charity either through volunteering or other means (in conjunction with the proposal or on-going activities).
    29. BoSI Charity The Proposal must contain • Charity Name • The purpose and goals of the organisation • Define briefly the project the support is being sought for. • How many people will potentially benefit as a result of the funding. • What is the long term effect of the project. • Is there a wider community impact. • Is any further funding required for this project. • Is the project sustainable.
    30. BoSI Charity The Challenge has to be embraced by the staff Charity and Project must be one the staff relate to This not an easy challenge and needs every one to get involved.
