      • Quickmail allows students and teachers to “ send ” out email
      • messages from within Moodle. The email messages will be
      • sent to the email address that you have in your Moodle profile

      • The People block shows all the participants that are in the
      • course and any information that is in their profile and date and
      • time of their “Last Access”
      People
      • Messages allows you to send “instant” messages to
      • participants and works in conjunction with Online Users.
      • Online Users lets you know who is online and then you can use
      • Messages to start a conversation with them

      • Forums allows you to have on-going “ asynchronous ” (on your
      • own time) discussion in a threaded manner

      • Chat allows you to have “ synchronous ” (real-time)
      • conversations with participants…for example…Virtual Office

      • The Files area in Moodle is similar to the My Documents area on your
      • computer.
      • You can create folders and subfolders to upload your files and documents.

      • Using the “ Resources ” tool in Moodle you can:
