    By
    Tim Hughes
  2. Here I am to Worship Lyrics
Light of the world, You stepped down into darkness, Opened my eyes, Let me see. Beauty that made this heart adore You; Hope of a life spent with You. And here I am to worship, Here I am to bow down, Here I am to say that You're my God; You're altogether lovely, Altogether worthy, Altogether wonderful to me.
  3. Here I am to Worship
King of all days, Oh, so highly exalted, Glorious in heaven above; Humbly You came To the earth you created All for love's sake became poor. And here I am to worship, Here I am to bow down, Here I am to say that You're my God; You're altogether lovely, Altogether worthy, Altogether wonderful to me.
  4. Here I am to Worship
I'll never know how much it cost To see my sin upon that Cross, I'll never know how much it cost To see my sin upon that Cross, And I'll never know how much it cost To see my sin upon that Cross, No, I'll never know how much it cost. Here I am to worship, Here I am to bow down, Here I am to say that You're my God; You're altogether lovely, Altogether worthy, Altogether wonderful to me.
  5. Here I am to Worship
And here I am to worship, Here I am to bow down, Here I am to say that You're my God; You're altogether lovely; Altogether worthy, Altogether wonderful, Wonderful, wonderful, Yes, You are God. I'll never know how much it cost To see my sin upon that Cross, I'll never know how much it cost To see my sin upon that Cross.
  6. Meaning of the Song
    The First Paragraph-
The first paragraph is showing that God is loving and merciful. God created everyone in a special way. We should please him for what we do in the world.
    The Second Paragraph-
You should always be free to worship God and praise him. God thinks we are wonderful in his eyes.
    The Third Paragraph-
God is the most powerful thing/person in the world and king of all kings. He created the earth and the heavens wonderfully.
The Fourth Paragraph- God died on the cross for us and cleaned away all our sins. What he did is powerful and unbelievable; which we will never know what it means.
Exodus 4:31- This verse shows that God cares for us and we should worship him for what he done for us.
Psalm 95:6- This shows that we should worship God for He created everything.
  7. Here I am to Worship Meaning
Mark 15: 44 is showing what happened to Jesus. He died and was nailed upon a cross to wash away all our sins.
