Basic questions about past experiences and customer services examples. Set up an interview for the next week. The interview was fairly easy. Same basic questions. They also have you act out a little just to see if you could be sympathetic. Got offered a position the same day. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE I applied online and the process took 1+ week Interview Details – Did one phone interview. Also had to take multiple tests on a computer which took 2 hours. Then I interviewed with 2 managers. The questions they ask where very different from any normal interview. They also do role playing in the interview. The manager also said I would be hired at full time 32 but could work more which is only true for 4 weeks during Christmas. I think they actually forgot to come get me but after working there it wouldn't surprise me at all. Then I interviewed with two managers and had to do some role playing. Interview was easy for me. No unusual questions and nothing unexpected. For one, the interview question “give us reasons to hire you”, “why should we employ you” or “what can you bring to our company” is something that differentiates the best candidates from the other good candidates. This question deals with your ability to sell yourself. Think of yourself as the product. Why should the customer buy? WEAK ANSWERS:  “I AM A HARD WORKER.” This is a really trite answer — almost anyone can say he or she is a hard worker.  “BECAUSE I NEED A JOB.” This answer is about YOU — “they” want to know what you can do for “them.”  “I SAW YOUR AD AND COULD DO THE JOB.” This answer lacks passion and purpose.

HOW MANY OTHER JOBS ARE YOU WALKING AWAY FROM BECAUSE YOU ASSUME YOU KNOW WHAT THE EMPLOYER MEANT TO SAY? Here you would have been wrong…! REMEMBER: “…reliable transportation to and from work…” remember that this does not mean you MUST have a car. If they did, the would say “Do you have a car?” This means can you get to work?…they don’t care if you can get home…that’s your problem for picking a job so far away from where you live….I mean, like, there was not any jobs closer? So DO NOT add to the employer’s question, DO NOT complicate it…KEEP IT SIMPLE! If you can get there the correct answer is “YES!” REMEMBER: Do not assume you know what the employer wants or needs…You could be wrong? What does “PASS” mean? When I was in school, I could “PASS” with 69% - I didn’t need 100%.
