  • 25. USED JOB SHACK INSIDER…McDonald’s CASHIER AT MCDONALD'S - ACCEPTED OFFER –JUN 2013 INTERVIEW DETAILS –I applied online and got a call a few days later offering me an interview. When I went in the interview lasted 15 minutes, and we mostly reviewed the resume I brought and he asked me what my job preferences were - hours, if I had any salary demands (I didn't). Interview Question – • What's one thing I should know about you? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CREW MEMBER AT MCDONALD'S - ACCEPTED OFFER –JUN 23, 2013 INTERVIEW DETAILS –Well I applied online to McDonald’s like everyone else and i was contacted a few days later, I believe 3 days for an interview in person. I waited in the lobby where the other guests were and other applicants. We were interviewed one by one. After the interview i got a call back from the hiring manager around 2 days later. She called to tell me that they were offering me an opportunity to work there and that orientation would be from 6pm-8pm. The orientation didn't last that long, it lasted around 1.5 hours. We were given forms to fill out, taxing, stuff like that, rules and regulations, and etc. INTERVIEW QUESTION –None. All the questions were very basic, like • Why do you want to work here? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3400 East Sky Harbor Blvd. Terminal 4 Phoenix AZ 85034 Manager: Pam Trzetziak 4430 E Thomas, Phoenix AZ 85018 Phone: 602-840-6281 Manager: Elizabeth Hernandez 926 E. • 26. CREW MEMBER AT MCDONALD'S - ACCEPTED OFFER – JUN 10, 2013 INTERVIEW DETAILS –I had filled out an online application and was called in a few days later for an in-store interview. When i walked in there were several other females around me, but i was the only one wearing business attire. After the people ahead of me went i was my turn for an interview. The interviewing lady was nice and most of the questions she asked were confirming the information on my application. She then asked "Why McDonald’s?" to which i answered that it would be a good first job to have and would give me experience. She then asked if i had any more questions and i asked what date training would begin if I got hired. She then said the date and had me fill out a background information sheet. She then told me she would see me at orientation which is basically the first day of work. INTERVIEW QUESTION –None of the questions were difficult ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CREW MEMBER AT MCDONALD'S - ACCEPTED OFFER – JUN 10, 2013 INTERVIEW DETAILS –Went into a city hiring event at the restaurant. First, I was told to sign a sign-in sheet and mark whether or not I had filled out an application on-line. I had filled out an online application so the manager went to the back to get my application information and had me sit down in a booth. I waited a few minutes and then was interviewed by the assistant manager. She asked the usual behavioral questions. Then she left me and discussed information with the General Manager and he came over and interviewed me and also asked behavioral questions. He confirmed I knew they were open 24/7 and that they needed people with open availability. I told him I understood and he offered me the job. He advised me that the assistant manager would be calling me to set up time for me to come in for orientation. INTERVIEW QUESTION – • Tell me about a time that you were treated badly as a customer and how you resolved the issue. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CREW MEMBER AT MCDONALD'S - ACCEPTED OFFER – MAY 21, 2013 Interview Details –well, basically you apply either online or at the boot if they have one. I strongly suggest going to the booth inside. It lets the people know that you are applying and it is faster. I applied at the booth and got a call about a week or two later. I came in and they gave me a free drink while i waited. The manager was interviewing someone while i waited. Then they called me and i was interviewed in the actual dining room of McDonald with all the costumers. They asked me four questions. Basically that’s it in a nut shell. • What was a time that you worked with a team and they did not do well, how or what did you do with the situation? • What was a time that you showed over achieving performance (going out of your way) to help someone/stranger?
  • 27. • Tell about a time that you had a lot of tasks and did them well. • Tell about a time that you had a task that was complex or something that took a lot of work or something to get it done. The manager told me that she wanted to hire me at the end of the interview. She wanted to do something called a red folder thing. Then she said that i have orientation to go to. INTERVIEW QUESTION –these where the only question she asked me ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CREW MEMBER AT MCDONALD'S - ACCEPTED OFFER–MAY 8, 2013 INTERVIEW DETAILS –I got an application from an online website and went in on their national hiring day. There were two or three slightly higher than manager personnel doing the interviews. They reviewed my application and noticed on of my references was a former Spanish teacher. They asked me if I spoke Spanish and i said yes. They then asked me a few questions in Spanish and i responded appropriately. I was told I got the job and was placed at a McDonald's by my house a couple days later. ============================================ DRIVE THRU CASHIER AT MCDONALD'S - ACCEPTED OFFER – JUL 28, 2013 INTERVIEW DETAILS –I applied to work at McDonald's online and told them i was willing to work any hours they needed me and that really seemed to help with my getting the call asking me to interview later that week. I came in for my interview dressed professionally which again impressed them, I was asked a series of questions none that i found too personal. After you are actually hired they give you an orientation where they tell you the rules and have you fill out all the proper paperwork. Then you get to work. INTERVIEW QUESTION –None of the questions were too difficult the one that got me was “Tell me about yourself?” I found myself going "who am i?" So my advice is to have an answer prepared for that. ================================================================= DO I NEED A FOOD HANDLER’S CARD?
