I arrived early, filled out abackground consent form and was lead to a ballroom where other interviews were takingplace. I first met with an HR representative who asked general questions. He passed me on tointerview with the Front Office Managers. It was two gentlemen. They explained more in depthwhat the position entailed and their expectations of the person chose for the position.Interviewing with these two was the most relaxed interview Ive ever had. They werecomfortable, warm, and hospitable and was like having a conversation with my friends. Theypassed me along to the Executive of rooms which was my last interview. I was initiallyintimidated and a little nervous because I knew this was it. He basically gave me scenarios as tothe types of situations I would be deal with and wanted to know how I would handle them.When we were done, he told me an HR representative will show me out. She came over andsaid that they all loved me and that they would like to offer a Position pending my background.Background took less than a week. All references and former employers were called.   • 7. Interview Details –It was very professional. I had scheduled an interview from the career fair atmy school. The interview was fairly easy. The recruiter was very genuine and nice. Beprofessional and passionate about what you are interviewing for. It went well, just be yourself talk a lot about your customerexperience... I know it went well because he was smiling as I was talking then came the F&Bdirector, that one went ok because he rushed me because he is a busy man but I charmed himas well. He told me he would let me know since I am the first one he interviewed for thatposition... Friday I got a call to give them my #ssn for background check to see if I am a lawobeying citizen... wheew... she called back in 3 hours to schedule an interview with me with theHotel G.M , That was monday, monday came and I interviewed with the big boss, he was superfrank, He kind of scared me..He asked me who I interviewed with and how did it go and beforeanyone gets hired he has to meet them, He spoke 90% of the ten min interview, he said he isn’tafraid of firing and taking people out u can imagine how I felt not offered the job but be toldabout that.. All I could say was I understand...He said if I had any questions I said No, he shookmy hands and said we will be in touch... I was like OMG...those 3 days was driving crazy Icouldn’t sleep because I much rather been told I didn’t get than to wait... On Thursday I got acall from the HR I got the Job!! Woot woot woot!!
