Newport Peninsula Urban Design Plan, City of Newport Urban Renewal Commission, Newport, Oregon. Demuth Glick Consultants assisted the City of Newport, Lincoln County and the Oregon Department of Transportation with planning integration of the Coastal Corridor Project for the Oregon Coast Scenic Byway, by integrating proposed changes along the Oregon Coast Highway into the central portion of the City of Newport — the Newport Peninsula — consisting of the City Center and its six surrounding neighborhoods. Work included preparation of 150 drawings; coordination of 100 public and interagency meetings and overall process facilitation.
