Dopo un keynotes ufficiale da parte di Intel Corporation passeremo a conoscere meglio questa distribuzione linux di nuova concezione: dalla nascita il 15 Febbraio 2010 alle specifiche tecniche adottate (architetture supportate, introduzione del framework Qt e del RPM Package Manager, etc…).
Jean Faust Mukumbi (Intel Corporation) e’ Technical Account Manager per Intel Corporation. Fa parte del Platform Technologies Engineering Group per la regione Europa, Medio Oriente e Africa. In 15 anni di esperienza professionale, dei quali 12 in Intel, si e’ occupato di sviluppo sistemi embedded, di infrastrutture server e storage, di integrazione di soluzioni per vari settori (E-Government, Energia, e Telecomunicazioni) e di Green IT. Dal 2010 promuove l’architettura Intel su nuovi segmenti e tipologie di prodotti nel settore delle tecommunicazioni, con particolare attenzione ai dispositivi portatili o mobili. E’ detentore di un BSc. in Computer Science dalla London Metropolitan University, di un MBA dalla University of Bath Business School ed e’ membro della British Computer Society.
