  • 8. African  public  libraries  need  Internet  access!  
  • 9. This  is  what  libraries  are   today  –  and  what  needs  to   be  supported  in  Africa   Bringing  technology  and  informaIon  literacy  to  the  public  
  • 10. Spaces  for  collaboraIon,   networking,  co-­‐working,   brainstorming,  innovaIng…  
  • 11. Trying  tablets  and  e-­‐readers  at  the  ‘Digital  Bar’  
  • 12. Print  an  out-­‐of-­‐print  or   self-­‐published  book  
  • 13. Digital  printers  may  be  in  demand  here…  
  • 14. …but  African  youth  are  ready  to  connect  with  the  world  
  • 15. …and  innovate!
