Notes on slide 1

Sam Gregory, and I am the Program Director at WITNESS. I’m pleased to be here today to share our experiences using video for change around human rights, empowering people to transform personal stories of abuse into powerful tools for justice, promoting public engagement and policy change    And I’m going to talk about three things – how we got here…our experience of using video in advocacy in settings including court rooms, legislative chambers and community settings what we’re doing now… and particularly our Hub project for online video Throughout I’m going to emphasize the participatory possibilities of new innovations in video and where some opportunities lie ahead .
