Slide 2:Problem: Many Internet Service Provider provide you with a special „dial-up software“ you have to run in order to connect to the Internet. Evidence: There is no FON_AP signal and the „Internet“ LED does not light up. Explanation: You need PPPoE if your router cannot dial-up to the Internet automatically. You have to set your ISP login data in the FON router. The dial-up software is not necessary anymore. So PPPoE is the dial-up protocol to connect to the Internet. You can find your personal login data in a letter from your ISP or on its website. FON Community 2
