We can restore value
We can decrease value
We can add value
Question: As recruiters can we create “community”? Can we give value to a community?
Can we give value?
We “do” community in:
In our corporate meetings
In our neighborhood
While looking for a cure
At the local PTA
What makes community work online?
Coming to terms The difference between an audience and a community is which direction the chairs are pointing…[its not] selling… [or an] audience to absorb our message. (chris brogan)
Coming to terms It’s something that’s built collectively, because it’s an impossible task for just one person (or even a handful of people) to complete. It literally takes a village. (amber naslund)
Does technology make community?
132 million employed* Does a number?
Things change, remain the same
