MBA SEM –II & IV 40 students has participated in IIMA's annual business summit, 'Confluence 2010' IIMA's three-day international business event, Confluence 2010, began on 26 Nov, 2010 bringing together industry leaders and students from top B-schools of the country. The day one of Confluence will begin with an inaugural speech by Rahul Krishna, head, TAS; dean, Prof B H Jajoo and Arjun Uppal, head, Hariyali Kisaan Bazaar. Following this there will be a panel discussion on 'Business Innovations and Inclusion' by Deep Kalra, CEO, Makemytrip.Com; Arjun Uppal, head, Hariyali Kisaan Bazaar; Nikhil Rungta, marketing head, Google India; Vishal Mehta, CEO, Infibeam and R Ramakumar, CEO, Pears Capital. The theme for day 2 of the panel discussion will be 'Innovations and Inclusion for the State'. The third day theme is centered on 'Innovations and Inclusion for the Society'. Other events scheduled for Confluence include flagship events such as Masterplan, Corporate Combat, Sectorama, Retail King, Bizquizitive and Statecraft as well as events planned by the Agri Business Club of IIMA under Kronos 2010. Day three came to an end with Dr Kiran Bedi's valedictory speech and prize distribution. In all Confluence 2010 will complete a wholesome picture of innovations and inclusion from all three aspects, business, government and society. In the events, Management Students Programme (MSP) saw the participation of 585 students from over 50 colleges from across India.
