Introduction <ul><li>About the Presenter </li></ul><ul><ul><li>US Navy Lieutenant, previous Enlisted </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Over 20 years of USN service including tours on 3 Submarines, 1 Aircraft Carrier, and as the first Enlisted Technical Assistant assigned to the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program Headquarters in Washington DC </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Been in the workforce for 27 years </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Currently responsible for the day-to-day operations of over 400 sailors in 25 maintenance shops. Additionally, acts as liaison between Ship’s Contracting Officers and Fleet Maintenance Activity to ensure 100% readiness of the Atlantic Surface Fleet. </li></ul></ul>

Why Ethics? <ul><li>Over the past year numerous Commissioned Officers have been in the News for integrity, ethics, and leadership issues. </li></ul><ul><li>As a Leader of sailors, I want to ensure that my charges do not see a double standard or appearances of in their Chain-of-Command. “Talk the talk, walk the walk!” </li></ul><ul><li>Additionally, in the “real” world, my sailors are inundated with the collapse of corporations and markets, any understanding I can bring to them brings a great return on a little investment. </li></ul>
