      • Florida is the opening attraction state in the United States.
      • Florida has more theme parks , entertainment centers, resorts, sports venues and vacation destinations than any other area in the country - and most likely in the world. 
      • Vacation chances are virtually endless. The following is a list of some of the many theme parks and attractions in Florida.
      • Theme Parks:
      • Busch Gardens - African-themed family entertainment park with world class live entertainment indoors and out, thrilling rides, roller coasters, animal habitats and shows.
      • Busch Gardens has numerous of the southeast's largest roller coasters including the new Gwazi dueling wooden roller coaster. This park is always a hit for those on vacation in the Tampa Bay area.
      • Discovery Cove - Secluded tropical paradise with friendly and playful dolphins - it doesn't get any better! There are limited tickets accessible so plan a vacation here well in advance.
      • Kennedy Space Center - Tours and exhibits of the world famed space port. For those vacationing on the east coast of Florida, this is a nice choice to the theme parks.
      • SeaWorld - Marine animal adventure park with charming and fun dolphin, killer whale and seal shows. See polar bears, penguins, sting rays in recreations of their normal habitats. Rides include the awesome Kraken roller coaster and the Journey to Atlantis.
      • Universal Studios - Movie studio based theme park with first-rate exciting rides, 3-D shows, and movie sets and attractions. Rides and shows include Terminator 2: 3-D Battle across Time, Back to the Future the Ride, Earthquake - the Big One.
      • The Florida Aquarium - an inspiring glass-domed facility that is home to thousands of marine creatures and bird life. Several habitats are represented including wetlands, bays and beaches, coral reefs and offshore.
      • Florida State Fair
      • Florida's annual State Fair is one of the most anticipated family events in the Sunshine State. Celebrated for the first time in 1904, the fair always draws tens of thousands of visitors.
      • Florida Strawberry Festival
      • Held each year in Plant City – the Strawberry Capital of the World, located between Brandon and Lakeland, this festival has been constantly touted as one of the "Top 50 Fairs in the U.S."
      • Florida Beaches
      • Florida beach sand consistency in the northwest along Pensacola, and Panama City Beach is fine and very white.
      • Clearwater Beach also shares this same fine and very white texture. Beaches along the Atlantic tend to shade towards light beige with a somewhat coarser texture.
      • Daytona Beach
      • Miles of hard-packed sand make this beach ideal for driving cars, four-wheelers, motorcycles, scooters and bicycles. In the summer and during spring break this beach is completely bustling with activity. During the winter months Daytona Beach takes on a more relaxed pace.
      • Fort Lauderdale Continuing north from Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale Beach is a pleasant strip of sand emphasize with palms and numerous parks.
      • Fort Myers
      • A world of tropical beauty and wildlife, white sandy beaches with dozens of islands to explore. The area is a playground of beaches. Fort Myers beach , Bonita Beach, Sanibel Island, Captiva are just a few exceptional places to enjoy the sand, sea and sun.
