  • 1. The Objectives.
  • 1. The Objectives.
    • In order to reinforce the dissemination of the project’s results and the global awareness of the work carried out by participants, we have to make an intensive utilization of the open and social 2.0 web framework which involves multiple tools and technologies like: social media, blogs, sites, file sharing sites...
  • 1. The Objectives.
    • This choice is sustainable because:
    • It’s free.
    • It has a big impact through Internet global awareness.
    • It’s fed by the public, not only by the sponsors, in a new role, called “Prosumer” (Internet users not “consume” information but also the “produce” it.
    • So, our products and deliverables could be enriched through contributions and comments from the public.

    • In this edition, our proposal for tracking the student’s work and making visible the final products deals with:
    • a) Each team has to choose an ICT Leader who will be the “interface” of the team with the ICT coordinator of the IP project.
    • b) Each team has to develop an Internet SITE which would be integrated into a Global Project Site , carried out by the coordinator partner.
  • 2. The Technologies.
    • c) This team site, may include:
    • c.1) A blog , to keep a log of the work carried out.
    • c.2) A forum , to hold project’s discussions.
    • c.3) A file sharing repository
    • c.4) An individual introduction of each member .
    • c.5) Any new functionalities we or the students propose.
  • 2. The Technologies.
    • d) The global site, may include:
    • d.1) A collaborative timeline diagram for the project, in order to track all the activity.
    • d.2) Links and highlights panel to the project social media:
      • c.2.1) Facebook group.
      • c.2.2) Twitter channel.
    • d.3) Forum, to hold inner and external discussions.
    • d.4) Any new functionalities we or the students propose.
    • e) In addition to other communication channels, we propose Twitter and Facebook as the main official communication tools.

    • Build the Main Project Site.
    • Choose ICT Leader for each team.
    • Create Social Networking Infrastructure (groups, accounts, etc...)

    • Sites development.
    • Publish documents.
    • Start pre -dissemination of the IP in social networking.
    • Interaction.
    • Creation of the international groups sites.
    • Multimedia Log of Kaunas’ Meeting.
    • Upload final report.
    • Social networking dissemination.
    Phase 3 20/03/11 - 02/04/11 IP DAYS
  • Final Remarks.
    • We emphasize the use of Facebook and Twitter from the beginning.
    • We plan to measure the impact (the buzz) of different "disseminations" through social networks and we have at disposal some specific applications we can easily use.
    • We will measure the buzz at the end of the IP and we will compare results…this can be interesting and motivating.
