  • 2. PraemisusTo understand artificialintelligence one mustfirst understand realintelligence…
  • 3. Real intelligence is found in the brain and manifestspossibility for a biological entity to do
  • 4. The playground for real intelligence
  • 5. So why can’t we go ahead and simulatethis wet and slimy organ? Isn’t our software and hardware good enough?
  • 6. Difficult concepts or properties in the brain as a demand ofintelligence
  • 7. Philosophically, one will find three sectionswithin the concept of free will
  • 8. Do we really have free will (Libertarianism) ? Physiologist Benjamin Libet have used fRMI to measure conscious choice Activity was detected in the cerebral cortex256 neurons were enough to predict elections with 80% certainty up to 700ms before subject being aware of it It may be that all choices are made subconsciously
  • 9. How about quantum mechanics? Does it leave any room for free will?Neuroscientist Sam Harris wrote the following in his book named Free Will
  • 10. What about our senses? They must be impossible to simulate! Vision, hearing, taste and smell, and the sense of equilibrium all constructed in the brain are
  • 11. Conclusion A small piece of software which results in artificial intelligence does not seem to exist Learn all you can from biology Map all processes in the brain Build an immensely complex and generic system It will be able to understand the signals at the same level as humans Your brain is artificial intelligence.
