Sharing Articles/Folders via My EBSCOhost
Go to the Folsom Lake College Libraries website:
Click on Databases and Articles
Under the General Category, click on Academic Search Premier. (If you are off‐campus, you will be
prompted to log in. Enter the same username and password you use to log onto your campus
When the database window opens, click on the link to Sign In to My EBSCOhost in the upper right.
If you haven’t a signed up for a free EBSCO account, click on Create a new account, located in the
green bar above the boxes for username and password. Fill out the form and submit.
Once your account is created, log in with your username and password. Once you log in, you will see
that the search page changes to display a yellow banner over the EBSCO logo. This is how you know
you are signed into your MyEBSCO account.
Click on Folder in the upper right portion of the page.
On the lower left side menu, you will see a folder that says Shared By. Click on the link that says Add.
Then enter the following passcode: 7daa1e02‐e2e1‐4dab‐b4db‐423ab5b473d0
After you enter the passcode, the folder titled “Brain Food” will appear under the Shared By folder.
You will see a selection of articles in that folder available for your reading pleasure. ☺ To read the full
text of the articles, click on the links that say HTML Full Text or PDF Full Text.
If you’d like to share any articles you find, you can create a custom folder, on the left side menu, add
articles to that folder, and then click share and fill out the form. Feel free to try it with your friends
