    3. The global recession has meant that people have had to make cut backs on their spending... Gym memberships have taken a hit. Which means that growth in the industry has slowed
    4. Recent statistics from the MOH show that: •One in three adults are overweight (36.3%) •One in five children are overweight (20.9%) This leaves a large market for Fit „n‟ Well to break into.
    5. Surveys show that New Zealand gym goers are happy with the “... large range of facilities and friendly service...” that overseas gyms provide
    6. Points that would help Fit „n‟ Well succeed in the New Zealand market
    7. Surveys showed that gym goers were unhappy with the only option of paying a lump sum and preferred to have options in the way in which they could pay
    8. •Fit „n‟ Well need to be out aggressively promoting their franchise at industry events •This will help them bring in new members and survive the economic downturn
    9. Services and trainers need to be provided to help motivate the overweight, so that they can be helped to lose weight.
    10. Provide an orientation Motivate them program which to return to Fit allows new „n‟ Well users to try out all facilities and equipment
    11. WAIT!! At the moment the New Zealand market is to unstable for Fit „n‟ Well to be a successful competitor. Once the recession is over, the market should be stable enough for Fit „n‟ well to enter and become a successful enterprise
