    • They sleep a lot
    • They eat a lot
    • They move very slow

  31. Some Examples If you… Then… Drink A Six-Pack Run 6 Miles! Eat Ben & Jerry’s Smoke a Cigarette Want to quit First… Enjoy It Enjoy It Enjoy It Get off your ass!
  32. See a Pattern? If you do something counter-productive, do something productive.
  33. See a Pattern? The key is awareness . The first step to eating something bad is knowing that you’re eating something bad. Accept that. Then, do something about it.
  34. Discipline Am I saying discipline doesn’t matter?
  35. Discipline To the contrary – true discipline is getting right back on track after you stopped to enjoy one of life’s pleasures. … which you should be doing!
  36. Sustainability This is the key to sustaining good health. Anyone can be healthy for weeks or months at a time.
  37. Sustainability You will get off track. It’s how you respond to it that matters.
  38. Balance Health is balance. (one of Fit Fuel’s guiding business principles, by the way)

  40. Balance Just look at the unhealthy balance sheets of all of our banks. (inside Stern joke)
  41. Balance If you’re not balanced, you end up like this guy.
  42. The Law of Trying Too Hard The harder you try to reach a goal and the more you obsess over it, the harder it is too reach. And the less you enjoy the ride!
  43. The Law of Trying Too Hard Find your rhythm. Let things come too you. It is much easier to meet health in the middle.

It’s All in Your Head You are pumped to start getting in shape But waking up at 6 a.m. is starting to get a little old You start seeing changes – it gets you even more stoked Actually, it’s getting real old You stuck with it.     • Must learn how to live healthy – and enjoy it!
    • Find your sweet spot
    • If you eat 5 tuna sandwiches a day but you hate tuna, then you need a new strategy!
    • If you don’t enjoy it, it won’t last. Even worse, you won’t be happy.
