Ok, we get it. IE hasn’t exactly been a kickass standards-based web browser since, well ever. Until now. If you’ve seen IE10, then you may have already been pleasantly surprised at how HTML5/CSS3/Modern JavaScript –ready it is. If not, prepare to be pleasantly surprised. What may also surprise you is that the IE10 found in Windows 8 is basically the same browser that you’ll find on Windows Phone 8. That means Windows Phone 8 is web standards-ready. By the time the session is done, you’ll know how to build apps with the HTML5 web control template in Visual Studio and you’ll also be pleasantly surprised by how effortless it is to have HTML5 experiences on IE10, both on Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8.
