  • 2. INDIAN OIL : INDIA INSPIRED For the upliftment of the societies ,theIndian Oil has done a lot such as:1. Innumerable social and community initiative in India.2. Touching the lives of millions of people by supporting environment.3. Health-care projects and social, cultural and educational programmes.4. Development of rural areas.5. Developing Techno-economically viable and environment friendly products and services

Amelioration By the Indian Oil :For the backward classes:About one-fourth of the community development funds including allotment of petrol/diesel station dealerships and LPG distributorships to beneficiaries from among Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes.For the Rural Development:The Corporation has also unveiled kisan seva kendras as small-format retail outlets to reach quality products and services to people in the rural areas.

Environmental-Protection Initiative:Indian Oil has invested close to Rs. 7,000 crore in state-of-the-arttechnologies at its refineries for production of green fuelsmeeting global standards.Preserving The Glorious Past:The genesis of the creation of Indian Oil Foundation lies inIndian Oils Mission statement, to" preserve ecological balanceand heritage." Exclusively funded by Indian Oil with an initialcorpus of Rs. 25 crore and an annual contribution of Rs. 10crore, IOF will adopt at least one heritage site in every Stateand Union Territory.Monuments identified in the first phase include Qutab Minarin Delhi, Konark Sun Temple in Orissa, Khajuraho temples ofMadhya Pradesh, Kanheri Caves in Maharashtra, Hampicomplex in Karnataka,

Indian Oil Academics And Scholarship:Indian Oil awards 2600 Scholarships for meritorious studentsall over India, under the Indian Oil Scholarships Scheme foreach academic year covering the first year students of10+, Engineers, MBBS and MBA. As part of the scheme, special encouragement is being given to girl students, physically challenged students, and students from J & K .Indian Oil Sports also awards scholarships to promisingyoung players with a view to encourage talent and create apool of sportspersons from whom to select sport appointeesto the Corporation.
  • 6. CSR Budget Allocation (Approx. 10 Crores) 1. National Calamities : 35% 2. Donations : 5% 3. Community Development: 30% 4. Indian Oil Scholarships: 20% 5. Other activities: 10%
