  3. 3. Four T1 lines serve the Sherrard High Schoolproviding high-speed Internet for studentaccess.
  4. 4. Students need to learn how to evaluateresources that they use in their course work. VALIDITY QUALITY CURRENCY UTILITY
  5. 5. Sherrard High School students sign anacceptable use policy and are protected fromdangerous and inappropriate sites by a CIPAfilter. GOOD BOY CIPA!
  6. 6. Sherrard High School teachers and studentscurrently do not understand copyright andfair use laws.
  7. 7. Following the Assertion-Evidence model, I providedboth raw and photo shopped images in thisPowerPoint presentation. The images were selectedin the hope of generating discussion among thefaculty concerning where we are as a school inrelation to information literacy. With images insteadof words, the faculty will have to think critically asquestions are posed in relation to the images.Although not currently linked, some images will behyperlinked to web pages to help promote morethinking, discussion, and understanding.
