    “Theynevertalkedaboutthe sex, letithappen, at firstonly in thetent at night, then in thefuklldaylightwiththehotsunstrikingdown, and at evening in thefireglow, quick, rough, laughing and snorting, no lack of noisesbutsaingnot a goddamwordexcept once Ennis said: “ I’mnot no queer”, and Jack jumped in with “ Me neither. A one-shotthing. Nobody’sbusinessbutours”.”
