    5. Getting Started How to enter your 1st Transaction: 1. Select a date in the Calendar view. 2. Tap in Calendar view to create a Monthly or Weekly Period.* 3. Tap in Calendar view to add a Transaction. 4. Tap under Category in the Spend/Earn Money view to add a Category.* 5. You're done! * Note: These steps are not required in subsequent entries.
    6. Getting Started ● Q: Do I have to use Categories? ● A: Technically, yes. However, you may set-up just one Category (say, “Default”) and assign all your expenses to that Category. ● Q: Do I have to use the Calendar? ● A: Technically, yes. However, you may set-up just one Monthly Period for the year (or 12 Cycles), and enter all your transactions in the Categories view until the Period ends the following year.
    7. Getting Started ● Q: Do I have to set-up a Passcode? ● A: No, but we encourage you to set up a passcode to protect your WalletWhiz data. ● Q. Why does the Exported file have a vcf extension? ● A. Depending on the software that you use to read your e-mail, the Exported Data file might end with “vcf”. It's the default extension for vCards, a widely-used file format standard for digital business card exchange. Just remove this extension or change it to “csv”, and you can open it in your spreadsheet or desktop budget application of choice.
    8. Getting Started ● Q: I'm having problems Exporting my Data. What do I do? ● A: It's quite possible that the e-mail address you entered may be invalid. Also, it's possible that our SMTP servers are overloaded sending out data to your e-mail's service provider. If this is not the case, please see the next question. ● Q. It's a bug! What do I do? ● A. Sorry about that. We try our best to release our software problem-free, but some bugs are just too nasty to be put down easily. In that case, you may reach us through walletwhiz@numlock.com.ph or @walletwhiz on Twitter.
    9. Getting Started ● Q: WalletWhiz ROCKS!!! How do I let you know? ● A. Thanks for feeling that way. If possible, please leave feedback in iTunes to help others experience the pure “awesomeness” of WalletWhiz. Also, you can reach us through walletwhiz@numlock.com.ph or @walletwhiz on Twitter to tell us how much you love WalletWhiz.
    10. Calendar ● Inspired by the iPhone's built-in Calendar ● Tap on any date buttons to move around ● Transactions for the date will be displayed on the table below the calendar ● To view transaction details, tap on the row
    11. Calendar ● Values displayed on the “Amounts” button are the Totals for the Cycle over the budget for that cycle ● Tap on the button again to display the balance ● If more than one Cycle is active, data for the Month will display first, followed by the Week.
    12. Categories ● Inspired by traditional budget applications for the iPhone ● Amount displayed per row is Balance for cycle for the Category ● Tap on row to view transactions ● Tap on Detail Disclosure button to view details for Category
    13. Categories Two ways to manage Categories: ● Clear Category – all transactions for the Category in current Cycle will be removed ● Delete Category – all transactions for Category in ALL Cycles will be removed
    14. Periods ● Used to organize date element of WalletWhiz ● Period is actually a group of Cycles ● Maximum number of Cycles in a Period is 12 ● Maximum number of effective Cycles for a single date is 2 (1 Monthly & 1 Weekly)
    15. Periods ● Upon creation, all Cycles in a Period have the same Budget, but may be edited at any time. ● After creation, start & end dates for each Cycle may not be edited. ● Reset Period to remove all Cycles; transactions will be retained, and will be included when new Period is created
    16. Transactions ● Most basic element of WalletWhiz ● Classified either as Spend Money (expense) or Earn Money (income) ● All fields are required ● After creation, Spend Money can't be reclassified as Earn Money, & vice- versa
    17. Options 1. Help - Gives access to these help documents. 2. Enable Passcode - Allows you to set a 4-digit Passcode to protect your valuable data from prying eyes. If Enable Passcode is selected, and the process of setting a passcode is interrupted, the passcode will be set to “0000”.
    18. Options 3. Change Passcode - Allows you to change your Passcode. However, you would need the old Passcode to change it to a new one. 4. Export Data - Allows you to export data to CSV format so you can share it with your desktop spreadsheet or budget application.
    19. Options 5. About - Gives you the names of the whiz kids behind this application. 6. Clear All Data - This will remove all Categories, Expenses and Periods from WalletWhiz. **IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT FORGET YOUR PASSCODE.**
