    1. 10 million sites are filtered
      • In 2006 Iranian Officials announced that 10 millions of internet sites have been blocked by various government agencies using the filtering techniques. Moreover, he added that more than 90% of the blocked sites have had "immoral" contents. This leaves about 1 million sites that have been blocked for other reasons.

      • In the last two years filtering and censorship has become worse. Especially many blogs by women were filtered. It is not really important what you blog about. If you are a woman, there is a real risk that your blog will get filtered. Political sites and blogs written by reformists and nationalist-religious people are targeted too. But the blogs hit the worst by filtering, belong to civil society activists such as students, women, and worker activists.
    6. Jomhour:
      • Setting up weblogs, collecting   signatures, designing and spreading logos in support of tens of political prisoners, women's rights activists and arrested bloggers. Or internet organized opposition for stopping hanging and stoning, or violence against women and children and environmental issues. It is understood these have effected the situation and have stopped some of these punishments.
