Sharing a shell - Presentation Transcript

    1. Activities inspired by Sharing a Shell First Cycle CEIP Federico García Lorca Colmenar Viejo
    2. Here is a classroom display on the chalkboard that shows the book, the characters with their speech bubbles, and other various games that go along with this book.
      • In this photo, the students are beginning the Sharing a Shell project. They are cutting out the speech bubbles to glue into their notebooks.
    3. They are drawing and colouring the character from Sharing a Shell in their notebooks that match each bubble.
    4. A student´s notebook done perfectly! The sea creatures are drawn beautifully and match the correct speech bubble!
      • The children have also chosen their favourite sea creature character to colour and have laminated to build a puppet.
      • The First Cycle students worked really hard on their character puppets to make sure they looked as pretty as they did in the book!
      • The students have completed their puppets and are now acting out the scenes of the story in the front of the classroom.
      • The children had a lot of fun holding their puppets, pretending to be the character from Sharing a Shell.
      • The happy students with their finished puppet projects! They did an excellent job re-enacting the scenes from Sharing a Shell.
      • This is the display board in the entrance of the First Cycle building. The board tells the story in comic book fashion using the childrens´artwork.
      • We hope you enjoy
