The Bahamas

The Bahamas is a group of 700 islands in the
Caribbean. The country´s capital city is
Nassau.
English is the main language in the
Bahamas, but they also speak the
Bahamian Creole.
American, European and people from other
countries, visit the islands in the Bahamas
every year.
Around the 11th century AD, the Tainos moved into
the southern Bahamas from Hispaniola and Cuba.
