A midway production Mortal Kombat

About Mortal Kombat… The subject that I have chosen is Mortal Kombat. Mortal Kombat is a fighting game created by Ed boon and John Tobias. This game started off as a series of arcade games which were taken by Acclaim Entertainment who made home versions. This was then taken up to the next level with Midway Games who made better home versions. What this game is really noted for is its high levels of blood and gore and its fatalities (finishers) who then brought up the creation of ESRB.

Characters of Mortal Kombat Mortal Kombat characters have their own styles of costumes, combos, fatalities and special moves. They also have their own fighting styles along with the weapons of use. Some of the costumes of the characters are sometimes too revealing and some go along with the character’s personality. But in the different games, their costumes upgrade to either better looking or just tragic. There are many types of characters that have been in Mortal Kombat for quite some time now e.g. Sonya Blade, Liu Kang, Kitana and many more! The weapons of use are also deadly… there is also a character that hides her true mouth to show a hideous mouth for her fatality.

Fatalities Fatalities are the most deadly Finishers that could ever happen to a person. The characters that do their fatalities use either their fighting skills or their weapons. The number of fatalities have changed overtime from simple ripping the body of your opponent in half to the deadly spine ripping, weapon throwing, heart ripping, head biting finishers. Mileena for example rips off her veil that covers her mouth to eat the head off the opponent’s body. All the different characters have up to two or three fatalities. Fatalities are the best thing to Mortal Kombat apart from the characters and their special moves.

This is great game that is only suitable for teens 13 and over.
