  • 2. Physical Features <ul><li>Komodo Dragons have sixty teeth that are curved. They will loose their teeth 4-5 times though they will grow them back very quickly. They will have 4-5 sets of teeth in their life. </li></ul><ul><li>Komodo Dragons claws have sharp nails .They have their claws to help them climb and kill their prey. </li></ul><ul><li>Their tails are very strong. The kids can stand on their tail. When they are adults their tails get thicker and stronger. </li></ul>
  • 3. Physical Features <ul><li>Komodo Dragons legs are very strong. When they are adults they use their strong legs to dig burrows. Their legs get stronger has they grow. When they attack they go legs first so they can get them of balance. </li></ul>
  • 4. Physical Features <ul><li>Komodo dragons can smell with tongue. Their tongue looks like a snake tongue. They can grow up to 10 feet long. Their stomach can expand if they eat too much. Their jaw are very strong so they can eat large amounts of meat at once . </li></ul>
  • 5. History <ul><li>Along time ago Chinese people thought komodo dragons’ tails could be ground into powder for medicine so a bunch of hunters came to get them. Komodo dragons have been alive for millions of years. </li></ul>
  • 6. Diet <ul><li>Komodo dragons eat as much as they can eat. </li></ul><ul><li>They can eat a whole </li></ul><ul><li>deer by themselves. </li></ul><ul><li>Sometimes they are so </li></ul><ul><li>hungry, they will eat </li></ul><ul><li>each other. </li></ul>
  • 7. Diet <ul><li>Komodo dragons eat meat. They eat deer, water buffalo, people, farm , animals , wild boars and even Komodo dragons. </li></ul>
  • 8. Diet <ul><li>Sometimes komodo dragons hide near water holes then attack when they are drinking. They also have places for hunting spots. They our poisonous because they don’t brush their teeth so they get deadly bacteria so if it bites you’ll be weak so they can make it easy to kill. </li></ul>
  • 9. Diet <ul><li>Komodo dragons hide in bushes and tall grass. They sink their teeth into the animal. If the animal gets away they will follow the animal until it stops. They often share large animals. </li></ul>
  • 10. Habitat <ul><li>Komodo dragons live in savannas. They also live in tropical rain forest, tall mountains that are covered in ,snow. Fires happen and burn most the plants down. They live on the islands Rintja,Padar,Flores,GilaMota,and </li></ul>
