  • 21. Three Main Arguments for the Existence of God
    • Cosmological Argument
    • Moral Argument
    • Teleological Argument
  • 22. The Cosmological Argument
    • The universe had a beginning.
    • Anything that has a beginning must have a cause.
    • Therefore, the universe was caused by something, and this cause is God.
  • 23. Hebrews 3:4
    • “For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.”
  • 24. The Moral Argument
    • All men are conscious of an objective moral law.
    • Moral laws imply a moral lawgiver.
    • Therefore, there must be a moral lawgiver.
  • 25. Romans 2:14-15
    • “ Even when the Gentiles who do not have God’s written law, instinctively follow what the law says, they show that in their hearts they know right from wrong.”
    • “ They demonstrate that God’s law is written within them, for their own consciences either accuse them or tell them they are doing right.”
  • 26. Teleological Argument
    • Order and useful arrangement in a system imply intelligence, purpose and design.
    • The universe is characterized by intricate design.
    • Therefore, the universe has a Designer.
  • 27.
  • 28. Psalm 19:1-2
    • “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork.”
    • “Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge.”
  • 29. We Serve a GREAT God!
