Body Of Christ Community Clinic - Presentation Transcript

  1. The Body of Christ Community Clinic is a team of community volunteers whose mission is to carry out the compassionate healing ministry of Christ by providing personalized, quality health services to the medically underserved of the greater Belton area..
    Mission
  2. The Body of Christ Community Clinic vision is to become a Christ-Centered Healthy Community.
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men…..it is the Lord Christ you are serving.
    Col 3:23-24
    Vision
  3. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
    2 Timothy 3:16-17
We express our servant heart through the following core values:
    Core Values
    • We value every person as made in the image of God.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14
    Core Values
    • We value showing the love of Christ through being obedient to God’s word.
Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. James 1:27
    Core Values
    • We value professionalism in our volunteers.
We know we love God’s children if we love God and obey his commandments.
    I John 5:2
    Core Values
    • We value community and strive to provide consistent, quality care in a safe and loving environment.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. I Corinthians 13:7
    Core Values
    • We value an open, sincere, and encouraging environment where volunteers can grow as they serve.
If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
    Romans 12:8
    Core Values
    • We value a person’s right to privacy and are committed to confidentiality.
A gossip goes around telling secrets, but those who are trustworthy can keep a confidence.
    Proverbs 11:13
    Core Values
    • We value an open door to all in the love of Christ.
You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat.
    Romans 14:10
