RESOLUTION FOR THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY REGARDING
EXTENSION OF JURISDICTION CiF THE CQILSTITUTIONAL
COURTS TO THE FEDERALLY ADMINISTERED TRIBAL AREAS
Article 1' of the Constitution of ~siarnic
Republic of Pakistan, 1973 *
defines the Republic and its territories, in which FATA is the integral
part and parcel and more than 10 Million inhabitants are equal citizens
of Pakistan, are to be treated in accordance with law and their
Fundamental Rights are to be protected and defended at par with other
citizens'of t l ~ c
Islalnic Rcpublic of Paltistan.

law called "FCR 190 1", promulgated by the British Impei-ialism for
their own vested rights, has declared immune from the jurisdiction of
Constitutional Courts, i.e High Courts and Supreme Court of Pakistan
through Article 247(7).
That we are being (Members of the Parliament), be considered the rzal
representatives of the FATA in the Parliament and each and every
benefit of a parlianlent be extended to FATA.

resolve and reconmeild that proper amendment in Article 247, [Removal of
Sub ~ r t i c l c (7)] of thc Constilutioo of 1973 bc madc and jurisdiction of
the Supreme Court of Pakistan and' pishawar' High Court ~ e s h a w &bk
extended to insure the protection of the Pu~~dainental
Rights of inore than l b
