  1. 1. 2011 Costume Institute Gala aka The 'Met Ball' Arguably the most fashionable night of the year is upon us, and the gorgeous gals at the 2011 Met Gala definitely did not disappoint. Our fave stars turned up, looking better than ever! View all the stylish arrivals that showed up to celebrate the opening of 'Savage Beauty' to honor Alexander McQueen. Singer Rihanna utilises the red carpeted stairway to show off he famous curves enveloped in a lacy black dress by Stella McCartney.

German model-turned-actress Diane Kruger wore a Jason Wu embellished top over a black split skirt and Van Cleef & Arpels jewellery.
