  •  Managed own business, Freight Forwarding Company , 17 years full of challenges and achievements.  Started in 1998 and ended up in 2005 selling the company for Agility (Multinational company)  5 years as General Manager and Regional Director for Agility Freight Forwarding in the Middle East.  2 years as Managing one of the biggest law firms (Strategic planning and expansion plan)  Started the Freight Forwarding for Agility in UAE, Managed to be among the top 5 F.F agents in Dubai.  Started the Trade Lane Business in UAE and the Middle East and Managed to have trade agreements with all the Regions,  Started the HHG products in the Middle East.  Worked for British Air Ways Kuwait for 4 years as the Kuwait Office Manager .  Worked for Swiss AIR Kuwait as Sales Manager for 3 Years.  Founder & CEO of Wrap It Movers in UAE/Kuwait & Lebanon.   •  January 2005 – April 2009  General Manager – Freight Forwarding & Exhibitions  Agility (formerly PWC Logistics), Dubai, UAE and GCC/Middle East  Established and stabilized this department for Agility, currently with 7 Managers & 120 staff; 2 offices; 3 warehouses; with big fleet and still growing.  Conduct regular conference calls with Agility branches overseas to discuss current market trends, strategies & action plans and road map to increase traffic/volume production between Dubai & the corresponding Agility branch abroad.  Key decision maker for the freight forwarding & exhibition business of Agility in Dubai.  One of the prime leaders in the development of the Trade Lanes in Europe, USA and Far East; drawing policies and procedures (SOP) for these trade lanes. Conducted and headed the Trade Lane road shows in Europe ,Americas and Asia Pacific  Over-all in charge & prime responsible for the Profit & Loss of this department with revenue of AED 110MM generated for 2008; Generated AED 85MM for the year 2009.  Managed to get on board multinational companies(Commercial Accounts).  Oversee the general functions of 7 Managers in the area of operations, sales & customer service.
  • ◦ 1990 – 2005 ◦ Managing Director/Owner ◦ Gulf Eagle Services, Dubai, UAE  An international freight forwarding company; ISO certified; 35 staff; dealt with all products: air/sea/brokerage, import/export, packing & local movement; with warehouse and doing warehousing for companies & individuals.  Awarded by AMSA (American Moving & Storage Association) for implementing the procedures and policies drawn for the Middle East.  Top 15 freight forwarding company in Dubai during its existence.  Number 1 in the Balikbayan Service (Dubai – Philippines) with satellite offices in Manila & other provinces in the Philippines.  Over-all in charge of the operations and sales.  Managed to stay in the market for 15 profitable years with good reputation until acquired by Agility/PWC in 2005.
  • ◦ 1985 – 1990 ◦ Sales Office Manager British Airways, Kuwait  Oversee sales & operations, managing 40 staff.  Prime responsible in drawing market strategy and SOP for the operations to follow.  Establish an honest and open support structure to ensure that the Sales & Operations Teams are given every opportunity to succeed with their set objectives. Involves mutual training and coaching, raising product knowledge, assistance with identifying opportunities, joint sales calls and hands on support, discussing different sales tactics and approaches and most importantly feedback and review sessions.  Over-all in charge of the contacts and agreements with Civil Aviation.
  •  1980 – 1985  Sales Manager  Swiss Air (2 years) & Alitalia (3 years)  Promote air traffic and sales of airline seats and cargo space. Directs the activities of other sales personnel.  Capture new sales opportunities and manage customer relationships for long term and repeat business.  Prime responsible for the realization of the sales targets of the team.  Coach and motivate the team to keep their spirits high in attaining individual targets.  Devise strategic plans to achieve the sales objectives.  Communicate the sales strategy to the Sales Team and raise the level of interest and ownership among each team member for the individual part they play in achieving this.  Analyze the current reporting framework and suggest where improvements can be made to make effective use of the information gathered.
