  • From Tactical to strategic thinking: picking priorities in Open AccessJean-Claude Guédon, University of MontréalProfessor of comparative literature at the Université de Montréal. Involved inthe Open Access movement from the early 90s and one of the originalsignatories of the Budapest Open Access Initiative in 2002, as well as of BOAI10in 2012. Helped the OA movement through participation in the programmecommittee of the Open Society Foundations (2002-6) and through theElectronic Information for Libraries (eIFL 2003-7). Presently, he is a Trustee ofthe Nexa Centre in Turins Politecnico. Regularly writes and lectures on OAmatters.
