Distinguished delegates from many European countries will be inattendance.There is a growing awareness among people throughout the world of the urgent need for innovativevision and bold leadership if we are to resolve the critical issues of our time. The ELC series addressesthis need.Day one of this particular Conference is to be convened in conjunction the 16th session of the HumanRights Council, at the United Nations, featuring well known European-human rights experts, as well asdistinguished members of the Ambassadors for Peace Network. All Conference participants will beinvited to participate in the planned UN-side event on the two key themes: Human Rights and Dignity:A New Paradigm for an Intercultural World and Interreligious Cooperation and The Prevention ofIncitement to National, Racial and Religious Hatred.Day two of the programme will consider the universal values and best practices that are necessary tocreate a world in which the people of every region, race, nationality, culture and religion can livetogether in peace. We will also delve into the root causes of conflict, and the ways we can movetogether beyond conflict, inequality and division toward reconciliation and prosperity as one familyunder God. We have attached a draft programme to this letter so that you are aware of the schedule.International participants will be accommodated in the Ramada Encore Geneve (www.ramada-encore-geneve.ch), a modern and comfortable 4 star hotel in Geneva. A fee of 320 Euros for each participantwill include a two night stay in double room accommodation with meals and all aspects of theprogramme (single room accommodation may be available at additional cost).
