  3. 3. Something's you didn’t know <ul><li>Nails and hair do not continue to grow after we die. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>They do appear longer when we die, however, as the skin dehydrates and pulls back from the nail beds and scalp. </li></ul></ul>
  4. 4. Something's you didn’t know <ul><li>A simple, moderately severe sunburn damages the blood vessels extensively. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>How extensively? Studies have shown that it can take four to fifteen months for them to return to their normal condition. </li></ul></ul>

  9. 9. Skin Diseases <ul><li>Basal Cell Carcinoma: Basale layer cells cannot for Keratin and divide uncontrolled. Least dangerous, most common. </li></ul>Skin Cancer
  10. 10. Skin Diseases <ul><li>Squamous Cell Carcinoma: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Formed in Stratum Spinosum, this normally due to sun damage </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Appears in the scalp, top of the hands. Surgically removed with radiation therapy following. </li></ul></ul>Skin Cancer Poor Pea-Skin

Skin Diseases <ul><li>Malignant Cell Carcinoma: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>5% of all skin cancers. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Usually starts from a mole, quickly metastasizes (breaks off) and spreads to lymph nodes and blood vessels. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Survival rate is 50% </li></ul></ul>Skin Cancer Do I really need an Arrow?
