  • 3. Why Study Languages?
Languages broaden your mind through learning about other people and cultures.
Languages improve your communication skills and also make you employable in many fields of work.
Studying a Language also improves your skills in English and other subjects.
Languages DO NOT get scaled down for ATAR.
  • 4. Why Study Languages?
All language subjects contribute to your ATAR for entrance into university.
While at university you can chose to do an exchange program and apply for a special scholarship to travel to another country and speak in your chosen language.
Knowing a language is useful in a wide variety of jobs, including in tourism, hospitality, engineering, economics and business as many companies are multi-national.
