The 2011 8M Gifted and Talented class have applied to enter the UN sponsred refugee project called "Here & There". The program teams an Australian school with the Australian funded school at Nakivale refugee settlement in Uganda. Successful students are given the opportunity to, colloboratively, work on a creative project to learn more about each others lives. Students can, in a real time live cross, speak directly with refugee children. It is a very special global event and aligns with the Australian Secondary School Curriculum.
