County of Fairfax, Virginia Service Plan Overview• Bus service plan developed from Transit Development Plan (TDP)• Goal: Increase transit ridership and encourage use of Silver Line by providing transit service to new Metrorail stations in Tysons and Reston• Plan recommends: – Addition of 12 new Fairfax Connector routes (Tysons, McLean, Reston) – Enhancement/Realignment: Modification of 21 routes – Elimination: Six routes recommended for elimination
