  • 1. Trigonometry For Dummies By: Fernando Avila
  • 2. Quadrants
    • In a graph there are four quadrants. Label counter clockwise.
  • 3. The Unit Circle
    • The Unit circle is located at the origin. It’s radius is 1.
  • 4. Sine, Cosine, Tangent
    • When trying to find sides of a triangle you can use the angle of the triangle in order to find them.
  • 5. Using Sine, Cosine, and Tangent In order to find angles in a graph.
    • In a unit circle you can find the degrees of the angle by using the unit circle. In the unit circle the hypotenuse is always 1. The sine is y/1. The cosine is x/1. The tangent is y/x because opposite is y and the adjacent is x.
  • 6. Sine In order to find sine you must use opposite over hypotenuse. Cosine In order to find cosine you must use adjacent over hypotenuse. Tangent In order to find tangent you must use opposite over adjacent.
