  • 5. Projects in a groups of 3-4 people very much likeHyper Island: client brief, goals and expectationsset up, flat structure, follow ups and working oncreative part all together.
  • 6. T-SHAPED PEOPLE
  • 7. In 90s IDEO coined the term ‘T-shaped people’,which refers to individuals that are curious aboutand knowledgable in many different areas(horizontal line of ‘T’), but also are specialists inone area (vertical line of ‘T’).
  • 8. HANGING TOGETHER

  • 11. ONE MORE THING
  • 12. A FEW THOUGHTSOF AN AGING MANMy key learnings from 10 months of Hyper journeyand 2 months of IDEO experience
  • 13. SAYING “SCREW IT,LET’S DO IT” IS HOWTHE FUN PART STARTSAnd even if you have no idea how you are going todo it yet, with this attitude you’ll learn along theway. The only fail would be not doing somethingyou feel you’re passionate about.
  • 14. THE ONLY CONSTANTTHING IS CHANGEAnd constantly learning is how you embrace it.Never fear change and it will be the best thing thatever happened to you.
  • 15. ALWAYS HAVE TIMEFOR PLAYThink of this: if you’re always working the way youwork, how do you find the better way to do things? And if your goal is to create and innovate, howwould you do it without time for stupid mistakesand a beautiful mess?
  • 16. IF YOU DECIDE TO GO FORIT, THEN GO SERIOUSLY
  • 17. The only way to get world-class result is to investin it world-class seriously.Invest in people, invest in learning, invest inbuying things just to break them and see what’sinside. Think of this: if you are already investingsomething as precious as your time, so why goshort about everything else?Serious play → serious gain.
  • 18. HUNT FOR CULTURE,NOT FOR MONEY ORPRAISENo one ever told me that the culture is a singlemost important thing about the place where youwork. Right people will follow the right culture.Right clients, right projects and right money willfollow the right people. As simple as that.
  • 19. WE ARE IN THE BUSINESSOF EXCITING PEOPLEWhatever you do: design, communications orbuilding a startup, you may find that eventuallyyour goal is to excite people. Can you ever do it ifyou are not excited about what you do?
  • 20. AND EXCITEMENT STARTSWITH YOUR TEAMIf I would bring only one thing from my all Hyperexperience it would be the importance of excitingpeople around you. The rest would come.
  • 21. RELATIONSHIPS WITHPEOPLE IS WHATMATTERS THE MOST
  • 22. Having a head and a pair of hands is enough to goa very long way. If something doesn’t fit, you maystart over by just having those two. What youreally don’t want to lose is the connection withyour loved ones. This, from what I learned, is themost valuable part of the journey.
  • 23. THANKS!
