I agree with your perspective - that's why IMHO KM is now gearing almost entirely towards social learning. But I do think (and hope) that even in the future we will need human interactions because providing context and adapting information to the needs of an individual is extremely difficult - if possible at all - for a machine or system to do.

    Btw, I've replaced the presentation to avoid the overlap - since SlideShare doesn't seem to accommodate custom animations.

  • RomaKRana Roma Kaur Rana , Communications Specialist & Corporate Trainer I really liked the way you put out the inter-generational approach to knowledge management. The truth is that knowledge is not the key any more but the implementation is. Innovation lies in using that knowledge in a way that it brings back returns.
    The days of storing and guarding information are long over. I sometimes wonder if the future generation would even need a real human teacher?
