  • 1. How Does Facebook Tag you as a Spammer
    Call us today! 1.877.684.6450
  • 2. Have you encountered this pop-up message from Facebook before?
  • 3.
  • 4. If not, I congratulate you because as of the moment …
  • 5. …you are still considered one of the million people who are abiding the “Facebook Code of Conduct.”
  • 6. If yes, I am sorry but you are being tagged as a SPAMMER by Facebook.
  • 7. This action has grave consequences like blocking you from adding friends or worst, terminating your account.
  • 8. There are lots of forums on the internet with people complaining about these penalties.
  • 9. Sadly a large number of these inquiries have been neglected.
  • 10. Get to know Facebook more…
  • 11. Facebook uses a proprietary algorithm for determining unusual usage.
  • 12. Here are the factors that Facebook classifies as spam:
  • 13. Number of Friends
Facebook has a way of weighing the proportionality of your friend’s number and the number of messages you send out daily.
  • 14. Content Similarity
Browsing through different profiles and writing the exact same wall post on everybody’s wall raise a red flag!
  • 15. Average Message Usage
From the observations and studies that we did, we assume that Facebook also considers how active your Facebook inbox is.
  • 16. Time
Facebook keeps track of your time while using their services. A sudden surge in usage will set off Facebook’s alarms.
  • 17. Facebook Activity Factor (FAC)
All the information stated earlier and others that we don’t know of are pretty much added up and used to create an overall Facebook Activity Factor which is unique for each and every user.
  • 18. Falling outside this FAC will definitely get Facebook’s attention (in a bad way). You may receive a warning like the one displayed at the beginning of this article and if your behavior is not corrected, punishment shall be made.
  • 19. Some people are upset because of the Facebook Algorithm, but the bottom line is that Facebook has good intentions.
  • 20. Facebook continues their battle against spam to bring a satisfactory service to all of their users.
