Phone booth brief

  1. 1. PhoneBoothPhoneBooth is an innovation project funded by the Joint Information SystemsCommittee (JISC) and led by LSE Library in partnership with EDINA.The project is repurposing the digitised Booth maps for delivery to mobile devicesand integration with modern data sources, such as the Index of Multiple Deprivation. The ‘mobilisation’ allows Library-owned content to be delivered beyond the librarywalls directly to the location to which is refers, facilitating comparison withcontemporary geography. The mobile maps will be integrated into an undergraduate teaching course enablinginnovative pedagogy and assessment.
