  • 1. Yokohama, Japan
  • 2. Yokohama is the second largest city in Japan after Tokyo. Only a river separates the two cities and their combined population is the largest in the world with over 30 million people.
  • 3. Yokohama is a booming city and a major commercial hub located on the west side of Tokyo Bay. It is one of the country's busiest ports. The major presence of internationals in Yokohama adds another dimension to its culture.
  • 4. The Yokohama Grace Bible Church is being led by Scott and Naomi Douma and their family.
  • 5. Prayer Points Pray for wisdom, grace, favor and provision for Pastor Scott and his family; pray for finance and blessing to overflow in the midst of this economic down turn so the church can be a blessing. Pray for our leaders in Japan to be able to identify, train, and release powerful Japanese men leaders and pastors. Pray for God’s direction concerning their facility. Pray for God’s provision to go more towards raising Japanese leaders and planting Japanese churches. Pray for more marriages and for God to birth many new families in the Yokohama Church. Pray for an increase of fruitfulness for Pastor Ted and Lauryn Kawabata as they lead the university outreaches.
